A few times ago, we invited from our Platform, International Community to show compassion to Palestinian people and more singularly to the inhabitants of GAZA (Palestinian territory) who until now are faced with a terrible embargo from Israel. What is worse, International Community keeps quiet about so serious violations of Human Rights in GAZA. Fortunately, the South-African former archbishop DESMUN TUTU (emissary of UNO) following the ex-US President Jimmy Carter qualified this tragedy of “Shame for Humanity” by deploring Palestinians rocket fires...

Exchange of prisoners
Sun, June 29 2008
The Israeli government approved Sunday with a strong majority an agreement for exchange of prisoners and body of soldiers with Lebanese Hezbollah (from government sources). The agreement negotiated via Germany and which scheldules the return in Israel of the bodies of two soldiers snatched in July 2006 by Hezbollah at the Lebanese frontier, was approved by twenty-two votes out of the twenty five members of government.
Even that Mr. Ehud Olmert (Israel Prime Minister) declared that “there was no chance” so that the two Israeli soldiers intended to be exchanged with Hezbollah for Lebanese prisoners are still alive, this one claimed to be determined to apply this agreement while inviting the other members of the government just as the population to adhere to the project.
The kidnapping of the two soldiers by Hezbollah in Israeli territory along the Lebanese frontier had caused an offensive from Israel Army which had lasted 34 days, from July 12 to August 14, 2006. The conflict made more than 1.200 Palestinian victims, civilians for the majority, and 160 Israeli soldiers killed. According to Israel Army, the two soldiers were mortally wounded at the time of their kidnapping.
“Mister Kpakpato” and his team would like to congratulate Israeli government and people who increase at the time being willingnesses for a final return of PEACE in the Middle East.

Demonstrations against the lifting of the embargo on American beef
Sun, June 29 2008
Several tens of thousands of people have demonstrated again this weekend in South Korea against the American beef importation under intermittent embargo since 2003. This demonstration speckled with violence made more than 200 wounded among the demonstrators. Many other people were stopped for questioning by the Korean Police. Let's tell that this umpteenth demonstration against American beef by South Koreans was characterized by the fact that the Police force made use of "water cannons" against crowds which counteracted with stones and iron bars.
The organizers told as reason for their demonstrations the “Principle of Precaution” deliberately ignored by the authorities when the Americans who minimize the risks related to American beef consider the resumption of imports as the essential condition for the ratification of a historic agreement for Free Trade signed with Seoul in April 2007.
President R. MUGABE
Presidential Elections
Mon, June 30 2008
In spite of protests, Zimbabwe organized its presidential elections last weekend while at the same time Morgan Tsvangirai the main opponent of the regime of Robert MUGABE withdrew from the competition a few days from the aforesaid elections. The reasons of this withdrawal are known by everyone: intimidations, victimizations and violences against members of the opposition, negation of the victory of Morgan Tsvangirai to the first round, organization of a second round in a climate of violence and terror…
The Zimbabwean regime turned a deaf ear to blames from International Community in its great majority. Other Presidents of the region did not agree on a common attitude of firmness vis-a-vis the regime of President MUGABE who on several occasions said that he holds his Power from God and that he would never hand over to his opponent that he does not hesitate to show as someone in the pay of the Occident.
Finally, it is in such a climate of violence that Zimbabwean voters were deprived of their civil rights (to vote). With the breaking news, Mr. MUGABE would have been elected at more than 90% of voters. After Kenya a few months ago, Africa draws again attention to itself by an increasing and contagious reticence forwards Democracy. We'll never find enough words to disapprove such a situation.
