Une trêve des hostilités entre Israël et le Hamas pour relancer le processus de PAIX

Il y a quelques temps de cela, nous invitions depuis notre Tribune la Communauté Internationale à se montrer solidaire du peuple palestinien et plus singulièrement des habitants de GAZA (territoire palestinien) qui subissent jusqu'ici un terrible blocus de la part de l'Etat israélien et ce dans l'indifférence ou la complaisance quasi-totale des "Citoyens du Monde" et plus globalement de cette même Communauté Internationale. Heureusement, l'émissaire de l'ONU en la personne de l'ancien archévêque Sud-Africain DESMUN TUTU à la suite de l'ancien président américain JIMMY CARTER qualifiait lors d'une visite à Gaza le mois dernier, cette tragédie de "Honte pour l'Humanité" tout en déplorant les tirs de roquettes palestiniennes sur la ville isréalienne de Sderot. C'est le lieu d'appeler tous les acteurs de la crise au Proche-Orient à s'approprier les solutions pour la Paix proposées à notre rubrique "Proche-Orient" par "Mister Kpakpato". Mais déjà, nous voudrions, au vu du dégel que nous observons ces derniers jours, féliciter les acteurs politiques du Proche-Orient (EGYPTE, HAMAS, SYRIE, ISRAEL, IRAN...) pour leur courage et leur volonté de retourner à la table des négociations comme nous l'avions également souhaité. En effet, après les négociations engagées entre Israéliens et Syriens sur la question de la retrocession du plateau du Golan à la Syrie, c'est au tour du Hamas et Israël de renouer le fil du dialogue en signant une trêve des hostilités, laquelle devrait prendre effet à compter de ce jeudi 19 juin 2008 (accord négocié et parrainé par l'Egypte puis confirmé par les deux parties), même si nous savons d'avance que des difficultés conjoncturelles ne sont pas à écarter. Et c'est là que les différents acteurs devront se montrer assez forts et déterminés. Pour l'heure, souhaitons simplement que cet accord soit respecté et qu'il puisse permettre d'aborder tous les sujets opposant les deux parties en vue d'une Paix définitive. D'ores et déjà, nous disons bravo à tous les acteurs politiques de la crise au proche-Orient car Aller à des négociations avec son prochain c'est d'abord tuer en soi l'ego qui inhibe nos actions et cela ce n'est pas forcément la chose la plus facile. Et pourtant, c'est de cette force intérieure que se nourrit quotidienne la PAIX que nous appelons de tous nos voeux./.

Middle East:
A truce between Israel and Hamas to give a boost to the Peace process.

A few times ago, we invited from our Platform, International Community to show compassion to Palestinian people and more singularly to the inhabitants of GAZA (Palestinian territory) who until now are faced with a terrible embargo from Israel. What is worse, International Community keeps quiet about so serious violations of Human Rights in GAZA. Fortunately, during a visit in GAZA last month, the South-African former archbishop DESMUN TUTU (emissary of UNO) following the ex-US President Jimmy Carter qualified this tragedy of “Shame for Humanity” by deploring Palestinians rocket fires on the Israeli city of Sderot. Consequently, we would like to invite all the protagonists of the crisis in the Middle East to take up the solutions for Peace suggested by “Mister Kpakpato” in our column “Middle East” . By now, looking at the easing of tension these last days, we would like to congratulate the Middle East protagonists (EGYPT, HAMAS, SYRIA, ISRAEL, IRAN…) for their courage and their willpower to return to the table of negotiations as we also wished for.
Indeed, after negociations between Israelis and Syrians on the retrocession of the plateau of Golan to Syria, it is Hamas and Israel's turn to resume Dialogue by signing a truce, which should take effect from this Thursday June 19, 2008 (agreement negotiated and patronized by Egypt and confirmed by the two parties), even if we know in advance that difficulties could arise on the way.
In any event, the protagonists will have to remain very strong and resolute.
For the time being, let us wish simply that this agreement be respected and that it will allow to outline all the subjects opposing the two parties for a definitive Peace in the Middle East. Right now, let's have a big hand for all the protagonists of the crisis in the Middle East because going for negotiations with one's fellow man supposes initially to "kill" in oneself the ego that inhibits one's actions and that it is not inevitably the easiest thing.
Whereas, it is of this interior force that PEACE we yearn passionately daily feed itself./.

On the one hand the historic handshake between the late Yasser Arafat (Palestine) and Yitzhak Rabin (Israel), two great peacemakers in the Middle East under the sponsorship of ex-US president Bill Clinton. On the other hand, three Co-recipints of the Nobel Prize of Peace (Yasser Arafat for Palestine and Shimon Peres - Yitzhak Rabin for Israel.) Let us hope current Middle East politicians will be inspired by this in order to go resolutely towards PEACE.

De l'autre, Trois co-récipiendaires du Prix Nobel de la Paix (Yasser Arafat pour la Palestine et Shimon Peres-Yitzhak Rabin pour Israël.) Puissent les acteurs politiques actuels se nourrir de ces souvenirs pour aller résolument à la PAIX.
